Foot In Mouth (Poem Year #29)

Jolly good scene today
Appetite we feed

Terrible case of “Wish I hads”
From a friend in need

Longing for the razor, in a chocolate, in a bag
Squeaking off the faucet, to an outcome, driven mad

Flock of “Wish I hadn’ts” tumbles to the floor
When stranger face bravado becomes a mannered chore
